weather permitting to raise more funds for the walk this year.Please call Christina

A HEARTFELT THANKS TO ALL THAT WERE
THERE MARCH 30,2013 AT PETRO CANADA STATION CRAIGFLOWER AND TILLICUM,
AND TO ALL THOSE THAT DONATED TO THE CAUSE.
We so appreciate all those with big hearts that are there year after year to lend
their support to Look Beyond Addiction.We have already had some that have thanked
us for offering them hope for returning to a normal life. Together, we can and will
make a difference!

as it is one way to make a difference to lives touched by addiction issues, and how life can be changed.
A Recovery Day Rally was held in Victoria at Centennial Square on Sept 30, 2012. We were there to add
our support and join those people that shared their story, talent with
the songs etc. Truly, addiction has touched a lot of people in all walks of life. However as we have seen
and heard, addiction can be controlled. It takes a tremendous desire
to make changes,but with education, help from friends and family,life can be good again.That is just one
part of what our team wants to bring to the forefront.Education is not
only for after addiction,it is also to help avoid the downhill spiral that follows addiction path, whether it be
drugs, alcohol, gambling or any form of addiction.We wish to get our
Charity Status in the coming months so we can grow and offer support groups to the addicted and the
families that have been affected, as well as education programs designed
to the youth in our schools. There is so much to do and we welcome your input. We are all touched by the
stories of those that are fighting to remain clean. It is important to
know that one of the personality traits that most shared is the feeling of "not being like everyone else, and
feeling alone". Perhaps most of us can relate to that feeling. Lets share more of these
stories on our sight so that it will be seen by many as it will give courage and understanding before actions that lead to the battle of their life
as well show others the dangers of trying something "just this once" We look forward
to hearing from you.
